Half Narcissist, Half Arsonist.

The Yuppie Dilemma is when you can’t tell the difference between good vs. evil, good vs. better, and bad vs. worse.  This blog is my attempt to distinguish between the three, and your opportunity to find humor in my attempts.

  3. Can we hear about the yuppies who find themselves in the post-grad service dilemma? ‘Cause I’m there, brother…let me know if you need an op-ed.

  4. So is YUPPIE back? This term came out when we got out of college!!!! I cracked up to see the term is back! However it appears you have put a spin on the original definition. Please note that the “financially secure” vs. “an affluent lifestayle” may not be quite the same!!! :-)

Yuppie (short for “young urban professional” or “young upwardly-mobile professional”) is a term that first came into use in the 1980s which refers to a financially secure, upper-middle-class young person in their twenties or thirties.

Anytime you need “vintage” yuppie jokes and the necessary info on what we were stereotyped for back in the day, (BMW’s, Perrier Water) just email me!!!!!

very creative blog chris – best of luck with it!

  5. WHAT HAPPENED TO UPPER WHACKER DRIVE? Bring back the old banner – Boston’s skyline is far too weak. Two words: Chi. Town.

  6. Hello there,

I bought some sweet kicks at Goodwill the other day for my Richie Tenenbaum Halloween costume. Come to find out they are Arthur Ashe inspired Run Athletics. Since I am not a tennis buff, I researched Arthur Ashe, and found a new hero. Not only that, I found your blog. So, thanks!
